Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efek heterosis hasil persilangan tiga varietas jagung pulut hibrida yang sudah beredar luas di masyarakat. dilaksanakan Laboratorium Percobaan II Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari dengan menggunakan rancangan dialel penuh dan pengujiannya acak kelompok (RAK) ulangan. Variabel diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, letak tongkol, jumlah daun, diameter batang, umur berbunga jantan ±50%, betina panjang baris/tongkol, biji/tongkol, berat biji/tongkol produktivitas. Analisis diterapkan mid parent (MPH) high (HPH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai MPH HPH untuk semua variabel ada bernilai positif karena lebih baik dari kedua tetuanya sebaliknya negatif. Secara umum terbaik karakter vegetatif generatif diperoleh pada BxA, BxC, resiprok keduanya.
